As a preschool teacher, it is my privilege to empower each student to be a lifelong learner, develop a passion for learning and thirst for knowledge. Kara’s team works hard to provide opportunities for every child to learn and grow. A classroom community is developed through socializing with peers, encouraging individual creativity, and enhancing communication opportunities. Each child can communicate feelings in his/her own unique way in a safe, comfortable environment. Children are offered the opportunity to learn about themselves and how to get along with others with the support of patient and caring staff.
At this age, education is more than ABC’s and 123’s. While yes these skills are important, there are many other pieces involved in educating the whole child. Preschool is about introducing the children to academics, encouraging and building confidence, developing self-help and social skills, promoting independence. It’s about learning through play. Having fun, and letting kids be kids while maintaining the appropriate classroom behavior. Lots of fun is built into our day while fostering, a positive and comprehensive educational experience.
